Terms of Service — MeshTogether

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MeshTogether application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by MeshTogether ("we", "us", "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MeshTogether, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MeshTogether. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Content

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content (videos, photos, text) you upload to MeshTogether.

License

By uploading content, you grant MeshTogether a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Use the Service to distribute spam or malware
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features require payment. All prices are listed in the app or on our website. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (Apple App Store, Google Play Store). Refund policies are governed by the respective platform's terms.

7. Event Participation

When you join an event as a guest, the event organizer controls the event settings, content visibility, and moderation. Content you contribute to an event may be visible to other participants based on the organizer's settings.

8. Intellectual Property

The MeshTogether name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are our property. The Service's design, features, and functionality are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MESHTOGETHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
