Delete your
account.
It's your data. Two ways to remove it: do it yourself in the app in 30 seconds, or send us an email and we'll handle it within 30 days. Both routes wipe the same things.
Delete it yourself.
The fastest way. Sign in on web or mobile, then walk through these four screens. You'll get a confirmation email immediately.
Open Account → Privacy
Sign in at app.meshtogether.app or open Mesh on your phone. From the sidebar, choose Account, then the Privacy tab. The deletion option lives at the bottom of that page.
Tap Delete account
We'll show you a single screen summarising what's about to go: your account, every event you organise, all guest footage stored under your account, and your saved preferences. Couples are reminded to download the final film first if they haven't already.
Delete your account?
This removes your profile, all events you organise (3), 412 clips, and your director's cuts. This cannot be undone after 30 days.
Type DELETE to confirm
One safety net so this doesn't happen by accident. Type the word, tap the button, and we send a verification link to your account email. Click it within 24 hours.
Final step.
Type DELETE below. We'll email you a verification link to your account address.
Confirm via email
Open the email titled "Confirm account deletion" and click Delete now. Your account is locked immediately, and all data is purged within 30 days. You'll get a final receipt by email when it's complete.

A short, required list.

What happens after you tap delete.
A four-step removal so you have a window to change your mind, and so we have time to fully purge data from backups.
Account locked
The moment you confirm, you're signed out everywhere. Nothing further can be added or downloaded.
Active data wiped
Profile, events, footage, exports, sessions. All gone from production. Listing pages show "deleted".
Backups overwritten
Our nightly backups roll past the deletion point. From here, no copy of your data exists in any system.
Final receipt
You get one last email confirming everything is purged. Then you'll never hear from us again.

Can I delete just one event, not my whole account?
Yes. From your portfolio, open the event → Settings → Archive & delete. The same 30-day clock applies to event-level deletion. Your account stays.
What about guests' clips? Do those get deleted too?
Yes. Every clip uploaded to events under your account is removed when you delete. Guests are notified by email if you'd like (toggle this option during deletion). See the privacy policy for how guest footage is handled in general.
I'm a guest. How do I have my own clips removed?
Email privacy@meshtogether.app with the couple's name (or event link) and the email or phone you used when joining. We'll remove your contributions within 72 hours and notify the couple that we did so.
Can I change my mind?
Within 30 days of confirming, yes. Write to us and we restore everything. After 30 days the data is irrevocably gone from all backups.
I paid for a year. Will I get a refund?
If you delete more than 30 days before your wedding date, you're refunded in full (you weren't charged yet anyway). After the event, plans are non-refundable since the work is done, but you keep the film forever, even if you delete the account.
How is this different from the planner-side deletion?
Planner accounts have a separate flow because they hold data on behalf of multiple couples. Deleting a planner account moves each event back to the couple's ownership; the couple then chooses whether to keep or delete. The For Planners page covers this in detail.
